Muse is a colour-first atelier in Marylebone. We mix for the light you actually live in, plan blonde in seasons, and never send you home with hair that needs a stylist to repeat it.
The atelier
Every formula here is checked at the window before it is checked in the mirror. Salon light flatters; the 9:14 to Liverpool Street does not. So we colour for the second one.
One colourist, start to finish. A card is kept on every head of hair we touch: what was mixed, what the water did to it, what to argue about next season.
The index
Ranges, not menus with asterisks. The number firms up at consultation and then it stays firm.
Tone, depth and a shine that reads as health, not product. In and out inside ninety minutes. £90–140.
Balayage and fine foilwork, placed where the light lands first. Grows out like it was planned, because it was. £220–340.
Corrective colour. Box-dye archaeology, band removal, the long way back to one believable shade. £320–520.
A standing plan: gloss between visits, adjustments as the light changes, priority chairs. £120–180 per visit.
The house view
It survives office light. It survives your bathroom. It looks like you were born lucky, and it keeps the receipt to itself.
The colourists
Three chairs, three temperaments, one standard.
The Blonde Whisperer. Fifteen years of talking clients down from platinum and up from brass. Believes every blonde is a palette, not a colour.
The Brunette's Advocate. Works in glosses the way painters work in glazes. Will find you four browns where you swore there was one.
The Gloss Editor. Cuts formulas the way editors cut copy: whatever the hair doesn't need, out. Fast hands, slow opinions.
