Barber & salon · Austin
Ridgeway & Sons cuts for men and women who'd rather show you than tell you. Fades, restyles, colour and the good kind of quiet — and every chair keeps a before-and-after worth scrolling for.
The shop
We never split the barbers from the stylists. A skin fade and a full head of balayage happen at neighbouring chairs, on the same brass fittings, under the same window. What they share is the standard: nobody leaves until the mirror agrees.
Book a name or book a time — the person you sat with last time remembers where you left off.
Before & after
Real chairs, real results. Grab the divider and pull — this is the last time your hair looked like the left side.

The board
Book the service or book the person — either gets you the same standard.
Scissor work up top, clippers where they belong, a blade at the neck to finish. Skin fades, taper, scissor crop — the works.
Balayage, greys blended or kept, and the long game of growing something out on purpose. Planned over visits, never rushed in one.
Hot-towel line-up, beard shape, and the ten-minute reset between the big visits so the fortnight looks after itself.
We don't do 'close enough'. We do 'come back in three weeks'.
The list
No packages, no upsells at the till. The price is the price, and the consultation's free.
$40 45 min
Cut, fade or restyle, finished with a blade.
$60 one sitting
The full chair — hair and beard, hot towel to close.
$95+ from
Balayage, blend or full colour. Quoted at the free consult.
The chairs
Book a name — they'll remember your last cut better than you will.
First chair · fades & scissor work
Third-generation, learned on this floor. Fast hands, slow opinions, and a fade you could set a watch by.
Colour & restyle
Twelve years in colour and a firm rule that no head leaves brassy. Will find four browns where you swore there was one.
The chair for the undecided
Best consult in the shop — brings the before-and-after book out before he touches the clippers. Talks you into the cut you actually wanted.
The regulars
Book
Walk-ins take the next free chair; booking takes the one you wanted. Tuesday to Saturday.
