Since morning

Pull up a chair.

A wood-fired kitchen, a long table, and the kind of evening that runs past its booking.

The dining room at Hearth & Vine, herbs drying over the tables

From our kitchen

The oven is lit at noon.

Everything worth eating passes through the fire. The bread is baked twice a day, torn not sliced, refilled without asking.

And on Sundays: one long lunch, one set menu, no clock.

The room at service.

This is what you're booking: the fire going, the long table full, and nobody looking at the clock.

The room

From our kitchen

Hearth & Vine cooks the way a good grandmother argued: with conviction, butter and time. A short menu from the wood oven, wine from small farms, and a room that likes elbows on the table.

What the table says

We booked for a birthday and stayed until they were stacking chairs. Nobody hurried us once.
Ellen Marsh Birthday table of eight
The bread alone is worth the bus ride. The chicken is worth two.
Owen Price Regular, Wednesdays
Sunday lunch here is what Sundays were invented for.

Good to know

Before you come.

Do you welcome children?

Yes — half portions from the same oven, not a nugget in sight.

What about vegetarians?

Half the menu, cooked with the same fire — vegetables are not a side here.

Do you take walk-ins?

The bar seats are kept free for walk-ins; the long table books out weekends.
